Taelefaga Hydro Power Station

Cabinet has approved the awarding of a contract to Northpower NZ Ltd. for the refurbishment of the Governor Control System for the Taelefaga Hydro Power Station.

The tender for bids was advertised for public interest and two companies submitted applications.

An assessment was made by the Sub Committee according to the tender bidding document before a recommendation was tabled for Cabinet’s final decision.
