PNN Pacific Construction Complex site at Saleufi

Construction of PNN Pacific’s three-storey complex at Saleufi has started.

According to the company’s managing director Ms Mara Wilson, the building should be open for business in 12 to 18 months.

“The complex will house a supermarket, a department store, a restaurant and possibly an electronics outlet. Other plans include a gym, a café and possibly a bar. The building will also include contraptions like elevators, show windows and such.

“The land is less than a quarter acre and given that there is no parking area there, the first floor of the building will be a car park.

“Our investment is about $2 million tala. We want to do something different from what other people are investing in.”

The site is the old Chan Chui store that PNN Pacific and its Papua New Guinea partners bought in 2009.
