Visiting rugby team from Melbourne Australia, donating medical supplies to the Ministry of Health.

The Samoa National Health Services received medical supplies from a visiting rugby team from Australia.
The Melbourne Grammar Rugby team donated medical dressings, thermometers, glucose meters, blood pressure monitors and other medical equipment to the Minister of Health, Hon. Leao Tuitama in a brief meeting at Saint Joseph’s College last week.
“The equipment and medical supplies will improve the health services to the community and these will be distributed to the various hospitals and clinics around the country.�? says the Minister.
The tour to Samoa was managed by Head of Rugby and Snowsports, Mr Robert Shields.
Among the 35 members of squad, are two Samoans, one of them whose father, Rika Sa’aga, played for Manu Samoa in the 1980’s
During their five day tour, the team played against Samoa College and Saint Joseph’s College and Chanel College at Moamoa.
The visitors won its game against Samoa College, one lost to St Joseph’s College and a draw with Chanel College.
The group also paid a short visit to the Prime Minister, Hon. Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi and presented a donation of clothing and sporting gear to the Mulivai Primary School .
The team returned to Melbourne on Sunday.
