Auckland City mayor His Worship Len Brown yesterday afternoon paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi at his office, Eleele Fou.

The pair discussed a myriad of issues ranging from office infrastructure to coastal development, tsunami recovery, transport and business development.

The mayor is leading a delegation of Auckland business leaders, representatives of education, infrastructure and food and beverage sectors, which together “represent almost a quarter of Auckland’s economy”.

Their mission is to facilitate business opportunities and give the Auckland delegates a greater understanding of the Pacific market.

A full day programme is scheduled for today which includes site visits and cultural events culminating in a ceremony at Lepa village where His Worship will be conferred a matai title.
